Do you love Ranch, but hate all the extra junk that goes into each bottle? Making homemade ranch dressing mix at home can be so easy and so much better than the store-bought version!
Ingredients
⅓ cup dry buttermilk powder
1 Tbsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. onion powder
5 tsp. Shallots, Scallions, & Leeks seasoning blend (order here)
1/4 tsp. mustard powder
salt and pepper to taste
Combine all these ingredients in a bowl and whisk together. It's really that simple! To use as a dry seasoning in your favorite recipe, 2 Tbsp. will equal one packet of seasoning that you would buy at the store. To make Ranch dressing, just combine with ¾ cup buttermilk (whole milk will work as well), 3/4 c. sour cream, and 2 Tbsp. of mayonnaise. That's it!
When mixed into dressing it will keep roughly a week in the fridge in an airtight container. To store the dry mix, place in an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place. It will keep for months!
